IAI Policies and Documents
The Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) was conceived in 1995 and fully implemented statewide in 1998. Over its more than 25-year history, IAI has produced a variety of documents and historical records that reflect the development and operation of the program.
The primary governing document for IAI is the Policies and Procedures Manual. This manual is maintained and updated as needed by the IAI Director and the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) and Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) Panel Managers, who work collaboratively to oversee the program's policies, procedures, and statewide operations.
