Veterans Resources

As a veteran in Illinois, there are many resources available as you consider different educational options. You may also find opportunities and assistance in transferring military credit to a higher education institution within the state. A listing of weblinks to various federal, state, and institutional resources for veterans have been provided on the right side of this screen. Most colleges and universities have a Veterans Services office, so be sure to visit them too once you have decided which institution you will be attending as they can provide additional support, understanding, and encouragement as you work towards earning a college degree or workforce credential.

While there are many great educational resources, both private and public programs, that military and veteran students may find beneficial and useful, the official resources provided here are most appropriate for the statewide transfer program of iTransfer and the Illinois Articulation Initiative.  We encourage students to thoroughly review institutional resources and recommendations for access to many great educational resources for veteran funding opportunities, educational programs, as well as majors and career opportunities.
