Discontinued Majors and Ended GECC and Major Identifiers in IAI

As IAI has continued to change and evolve, major panels/IAI majors have been been discontinued and disbanded.  When this occurs, the identifiers are ended which also ends IAI approval for courses within the identifers.

Here are the discontinued majors in IAI:
CLS - Clinical Lab Sciences
EDU - Education
EED - Elementary Education
EGL - English - Recommendations moved to the GECC HFA panel
HST - History - Recommendations moved to the GECC HFA and SBS panels
IND - Industrial Technology
MTM - Manufacturing Technology-Machining
MUS - Music
NUR - Nursing
SED - Secondary Education
SOC - Sociology - Recommendations moved to the GECC SBS panel
SPC - Speech Communication
SPE - Special Education
SW - Social Work

In addition to discontinued major and as part of regular panel processes, active GECC and Major panels evaluate identifiers and may discontinue an identifier for a variety reasons.
