What is course articulation?

It is the relationship between two courses from different institutions of higher education, in this case, and how they relate and work together. Course articulation and the awarding of credit happens on many levels as a student makes a transfer from one school to another. Sometimes a student is able to provide syllabi and other course information to help the articulation experts ascertain the credit that should be awarded at the next, or receiving, institution.
