The following courses, beyond the prerequisite courses , are recommended if you choose to begin college at one Illinois school and later transfer to another, and if you want to major in Industrial Engineering at your new school. Remember to consult with your academic advisor early and often.

• Industrial Engineering Core Courses
  (7-14 semester credits)
  • EGR 941 - Engineering Graphics/CAD (2-4 semester credits)
  • EGR 942 - Statics (2-3 semester credits)
    and either
    EGR 943 - Dynamics (2-3 semester credits)
    or
    EGR 944 - [Combined] Statics and Dynamics (5 semester credits)
  • EGR 945 - Strength of Materials/Mechanics of Solids (5 semester credits)
