Transfer Checklist

Checked box icon. Prepare to transfer by deciding which colleges to consider
In considering which schools you may want to transfer to, you need to decide what criteria you have for picking a college. Some criteria include: majors or programs, size, location, athletics, housing, admission selectivity, and type of school. Harper counselors can help you think about these criteria and come up with schools that meet your needs. Information on participating schools can be found here

Checked box icon. Plan your course selection with transferring in mind
Meet with a transfer counselor to plan your course selection. In most counseling centers there are transfer guides for many schools in Illinois, plus sample academic plans by major. Because transfer requirements change frequently, you should verify all transfer information directly with the school. You can verify your Gen Ed transferability in Gen Ed Section and major related course transferability with u.select.
