IAI Business Panel Summary
November 18, 2011
Heartland Community College
Welcome and introductions. It was suggested to have a meeting ‘note taker’ to allow ICCB member and co-chairs to run meeting and technology.
New management software will be implemented for meeting summaries. Summaries will be sent to panel members to be approved via e-mail. Old summaries will be archived.
Site vendor to review IAI website in summer. It was suggested to have ‘less’ clicks
Update on Senate Bill 59
Website developed for students and family concerns regarding courses that don’t transfer, however, site seems to be receiving more ‘advising’ type questions. Both sending and receiving institutions will receive copies.
Course description and objectives were approved for BUS 902 with the addition of ‘internet use’ added to objectives.
Submitted courses were reviewed – panel members were encouraged to review and vote on courses prior to meeting.
Spring 2012 meeting scheduled for March 29, 2012, Fall 2012 meeting TBD
