  1.  Introductions & Technology

  2. IAI Updates

    1. Fine tuning background programming on the website

      1. Multiple Panel assignments causes an issue

      2. We have implemented Doodle for RSVP to save money on catering at meetings

      3. There is now a short delay in emails going out on course decisions to give the panel time in the meeting to change their minds on decisions for consistency

      4. Many meetings this season have changed to Conference Calls in an effort to save money

      5. iTransfer/IAI now report to Danielle Lindsay who came to us from ISU’s Provosts Office

  3. Board Information and Updates

    1. Eric Lichtenberger – IBHE – Community College Feedback Report

      1. Discussion re student outcomes – where and why

      2. Pilot Study – possibly out in the Spring?

      3. Presentation at TC meeting next week (non-discussion)

    2. SARA has been launched – is going well

    3. Low-Productivity Programs Report – required by Legislature

    4. Illinois Military PLA Scan (Prior Learning Assessment) – a lot to come

    5. Dual Credit – Communication Plan, etc.

    6. Complete College America – Malinda is liaison

    7. AP Legislation – will work with Physics Panel first to figure out how we proceed

    8. ICCB – at Steering AP will be discussed.  Coming in Spring.

    1. Tom McGinnis – Discussion re AS, AES, AA degrees

    2. Anne Brennan – There needs to be a consistent set of courses across all City Colleges of Chicago schools OR ease up on calling Ongoing Review courses.  Which would be a better use of time?  It will take more than a couple of review seasons to get all the the courses through the process

    3. Ashley – GECC Humanities & Fine Arts – nothing in our Policies & Procedures Manual says the requirement for 3 HFA Courses have to be 3 different codes. Therefore, this needs to be in policies to be enforced.

    4. Jess Ray – How are schools doing CEU’s? (Continuing Education Units)

       

  6. Spring IAC Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, 2015 at Lincoln College, Meyers-Evans Student Center, Carroll Family Alumni Room.  TC Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2015.  Fall IAC Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday November 8, 2015 at Lincoln College, Meyers-Evans Student Center, Carroll Family Alumni Room.  TC Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 2015.
