1.      Introductions and Technology, Welcome New Members.

 

2.     Training, Orientation & iTransfer.org Updates

a.     Sam Wheeler has left ICCB, Brian Durham is filling this role until someone is hired.

b.     Adam Julian has left IAI as Web Programmer, and Janice Leuchtenberg was out of the office for 6 weeks medical leave, so Krista was very busy.

c.      Comments emails when someone voted on a course:  helpful or not?

                                                    i.     Constant stream through email was annoying

                                                   ii.     Everyone should know to email Krista with issues and open any email from her, but will probably ignore the rest

                                                  iii.     These emails did enable us to catch a couple of issues that would have affected voting and get them fixed early

4.     Course Approval Criteria and Submission Process – Review materials

a.     Course Description Page – paragraph at top is wrong, and some individual descriptions are wrong.  Keven Hansen sent suggested changes via email.  Email was included in the printed agenda.  Panel decided to accept all of Keven’s suggestions.

b.     M1 900 is Retired but there are still courses out there.  All will be called for Fall, to be submitted as New.

c.      M1 900B descriptor was discussed, will remain as is.

 

5.     Items from Members

a.     Steve hasn’t been able to attend the Steering Panel Meeting for some time and doesn’t know when he can.  Panel wants him to stay as co-chair, so it was suggested and approved that he have a substitute panel member attend for him to ease the workload on Mary Wright.

 

6.     Appreciation/Thank You to Departing Members

 

7.     Next meeting will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at ISU Alumni Center, Room 119.
