II.    Course Decision Making Criteria 

a.    Discussion re writing requirement.  Panel wants to have a word count and a page count.  To be fair, we need to say 2500 words at ____ font.

b.    Change syllabus from generic to representative.  Ideally we want both, but want whatever is submitted to give the information needed.

a.    Statewide Information

i.  PARCC Judgment Study – faculty-based – grant has ended.  Trying to determine next steps.

ii.  Common Core = Illinois Learning Standards

iii.  Developmental Education – still out there.  Being re-designed.  Funing issues.

b.    IAI Information

i. We have hired an IT and Web Administrator – Richard Stillwell.

c.  Personnel Changes

 i. Sam Wheeler is gone from ICCB.  Our new representative is Ashley Becker.

ii.  There have been lots of panel changes.
