4. Course Approval Criteria and Submission Process - Review materials

5.  Other

            a.  GECC Social & Behavioral Science/GECC Humanities & Fine Arts Evaluation List (at

                        bottom of Agenda)

            b.  Course Title Change for S1904D

                        Recommendation:

  1. Keep the descriptor

  2. Change the title to Applied Anthropology

  3. Remove the Representative Syllabus that is presently online (discrepant with descriptor)

  4. Find another syllabus to match.  However, obviously few community colleges offer this.  Albeit this has interesting possibilities.

  5. In which case, do we need this descriptor?  For Gen Ed, the primary 4 fields analyses (archaeology, cultural anthropology, physical anthropology, and linguistics) are sufficient for IAI
